Learning by doing

Christophe Thibaut made a very nice description of the Dojo.Of course, the Dojo is all about learning and improving our skills at programming computers. For me, it links directly to the XP approach for software project management. I really feel that XP allows you to learn the domain of your application, and improve your skill into developing it, during the process of doing it.Everybody learns from the others: the client learns from the team what is possible, and how to do it, and the techies learn from the client his domain, and what really matters in his business. The most important fact is that you can, and actually must, freely exchange about what you did not understand, propose bad solutions, and improve them collectively. Now, you have the right to make mistakes.
